Small Steps to Keep Things Moving
HR Team
Duc Do shares the little changes he's trying: sharpening soft skills for decisive decisions, proactive communication for clear goals, and low-energy ways to stay productive.
What's one area where you've made small steps forward?
My primary area of improvement has been in soft skills. Throughout my leadership learning journey, I have improved in trusting my team, which has enabled me to become more decisive in my approach and more effective in delegating responsibilities.
Can you share one small change that helped you work better with the team?
One small change that proved effective was prioritizing proactive communication. By fostering an environment where the team was expected to feel free to raise questions and ensuring the precise execution of our objectives.
What if you're on low energy, what would you do to still keep the '1% better every day' momentum?
When my energy is low, I shift from 'doing' to 'helping.' I spend my time removing small problems for my team or answering their quick questions. It's a low-effort way for me to make sure the team keeps moving forward smoothly.
