Product Designer

Product Designer

Responsibilities

  • Become a champion for user-centric design. As our company gets bigger, we need dedicated designers focused on a specific area in the product. You'll be in conversations constantly reminding us to put the users first.

  • Ship features designed entirely by you. You’ll be expected to take ownership of all your work. You'll need to collaborate closely with engineers, PM's, and BA's, to ensure that user goals are met and design specs are delivered. Of course, other designers (and the rest of the team!) will support you every step of the way, but we're not looking for people that just follow orders.

  • Shape the direction of our products. Your work now will likely be influential for years to come. You may be working on improving an existing feature, conceptualizing something new, or fundamentally rethinking how something works. You will have plenty of opportunities to bring new perspectives to your team.

  • Contribute to our design language. Products move faster when there is a common design language and style guide so that designers can spend more time on more important things instead of ensuring all the dropdowns look and behave consistently.

Skills and experience

  • At least 2+ years of digital design experience. Relevant work experience as a product designer is preferred. It's not that we care much about the exact number of years, but we're looking for people who can step up to own parts of the product - all the way from concept to implementation. We believe in working autonomously; there's likely no one to tell you how to do things as long as you achieve the expected outcomes. Now, if you have less experience but still feel you could do the job, please don't be shy!

  • Solid design skills. Having a solid grasp of interaction and visual design fundamentals to ensure the product is intuitive (through competitor analysis, awareness of best practices in the design field) will make it easier for you to work with your team. We are using Figma as our primary design tool. Frankly, we don't care much about the tools you use as long as it doesn’t disrupt your team’s workflow

  • Great communication skills. English is our common language. Having decent verbal and written communication skills are essential to operate effectively with your team. You understand that words matter as much as the pixels.

  • Healthcare is a challenging domain. We’re not looking for someone who’s already an expert. Along the way, mistakes will be made and you must have the courage and ability to admit those mistakes. As long as you put in your best effort, you love to learn, and work well with others, you’ll fit right in. Being a team player will help us move further together, as a team.

  • And last, but not the least, we always treat people with respect, so we expect you to do the same.

Interview process

  • In the first round, we’ll communicate with Team Leader and Sub Lead Team to understand more about your Technical skills. In this round, you'll be given a screening test (may take around 30 minutes or longer around 2-3 hours, up to your levels). Please give us a submission timeline once you fully understand the requirement. After the submission, we'll give you the feedback within a working day

  • After that, there'll be Peer to Peer interview where you'll have a chance to know more about your teammates (Product Manager, Designer, and other developers).

  • The ultimate feedback will be given within 3 working days.

Why should you be excited to join us?

  • Salary: Gross $ 1,500 - $ 2,500. Negotiable salary according to ability.

  • A lot of ownership of your work. We tackle challenges, as a team

  • Very open environment, no hierarchy, we want you to be the change you seek

  • Competitive salary. We pay what you deserve, not what the paper says

  • Salary band per level and employee benefits are reviewed once per year

  • 100% salary during the probation period

  • Grab support to work at a beautiful office in D2 with snacks and coffee at the pantry

  • High-tech gear to support your work: Apple laptops, an extra monitor, etc.

  • Up to 13 days of annual leaves with a loyalty program of up to 100 mils, and national holidays

  • Additional 03 days off: Christmas leave (25/12), Vietnamese Family Day (28/6), Birthday leave

  • Private Health Insurance for you and your family

  • 13th-month bonus salary

  • Big chance to grow as a person. We use Event storming, Service Blueprint, Empathy map, and a lot of modern toolsets to make our life easier and we are eager to share that with you

  • Sick leave support; and lots of activities.
